Folkstar is the biggest folk art web store in Poland. They are selling items that nobody needs, but everybody loves.
The company was founded in 2009 and offers products at 9 brick and mortar stores all over the country. Selling over 25000 products via their web store they are way above their competition.
Folkstar had great potential in its online channel. However, the web store was simple and outdated. It didn’t even have an online payment integration or a mobile-friendly design. Despite this, the annual revenue of the online channel was quite impressive. Folkstar decided to invest in its online channel to make these numbers even higher and open to the online market.
