in the Swiss Lens Market

Lensvision.ch is the leading lens specialist in Switzerland. They sell their products through the B2C Oxid online store with custom B2B features, selling over 150,000 lenses a month from 200 different contractors.
To develop the company, they decided to provide a mobile application with an eCommerce module for a specific optician, within which he can conduct an interview process, manage meetings, and order lenses for a specific customer.
The project's biggest challenge was to design an appropriate microservice architecture that would aggregate all the data and be flexible enough to expand to a larger number of fulfillers.
Due to the fact that the Elvi team had no experience working with PHP, we decided to join them as Sylis and Symfony specialists. We participated in proof of concepts, checking Sylius's performance, configuring data models, and migrating current business data.
