Quick History Of BitBag

The start

Damian and Mikołaj started as friends with a passion for programming and the IT world. In 2017, they thought of better software in which they always wanted to act themselves. And that's how BitBag was born. Over the years, we became a partner of Sylius, Shopware, VueStorefront, Ibexa. Every year, since 2018, BitBag has been recognized as one of the best companies in Poland according to the Clutch.co ranking.

The company grows by at least 200% in revenues each year, with a 420% increase in 2019 compared to 2018.

Our mission

We believe that geolocation shall not be the limitation for a great work environment. Hence we focus on the talents and not the place a person is located in. The fully remote approach is a fundamental value for BitBag and everyone we hire. We appreciate its flexibility and the possibility of finding the best matching people to join our team.

At the same time, we believe that the remote environment allows us to reach clients with custom needs from various parts of the globe and be recognized by our experience, not the country we live in.
We would not be in the position we are in if it was not for open source.

What is our vision
