Vue Storefront 2 is the latest version of the PWA frontend platform based on the vue.js framework created on the principles of open-source software.

PWA (Progressive Web App) combines the best features of a website and a mobile application. This technology is used by internet giants such as Twitter and AliExpress.

GraphQL as a connector
It allows the client – in our case, the PWA application to create a query to obtain only the information he needs at a given moment – thus ensuring flexibility, optimization of the number of requests to the server and the size of their responses, and certainty of the type of data that we expect.

The connection of Vue Storefront 2 and Sylius takes place through API communication using GraphQL technology, which significantly increases efficiency and gives more freedom compared to the standard version in the REST architecture.

Plug-and-play solution for Sylius and Vue Storefront 2

It is a standalone plugin that can be added to a store built on Sylius. This plugin allows you to perform basic actions provided by Sylius, such as:

The mechanism of GraphQL operation itself is based on API Platform implementations.
